Creative & Diversity Director – Keyinde Ajayi

Keyinde has worked in the creative industry as a teacher of Film Production for the last 25 years. During this period, he has also been a Creative Director, Photographer and a Designer for various creative companies.

He has been passionate about Film, Photography, Design and Art for his whole life.  When he was a child, he was inspired by old black and white detective movies, which led to him testing out Photography. When the detectives worked in the dark rooms, to develop their films and photographs, Keyinde decided that he also wanted to learn this process.

He was fascinated by how an image appeared on the paper in a red-lit room. This is where his journey began and he was hooked from that point onwards. This later led to him making his own films too.

“I am currently a Film lecturer at an FE college. I also lecture and teach photography in London for a bespoke photo sport-journalism course, which involves writing, designing and creating a well-rounded culturally diverse and educational curriculum that encompasses all abilities and backgrounds. I thoroughly enjoy helping students to develop as individuals and in a group setting, so they can hone their skills and progress to the next step in their chosen careers.”
