Top Ten Film and TV Trailers

We have put together a list of the most highly rated film and TV trailers currently streaming on YouTube, as recorded on August 14th, 2020. You have probably not heard of some of them yet, but they have already received critical acclaim.

The order of this list changes, but we will bring you a new version soon. It is worth looking at this list for new ideas of what to watch. Background information is from Wikipedia and IMDB.

No1 – Sadak 2:

Sadak 2 (transl. Road 2) is an upcoming Indian film directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Mukesh Bhatt under their banner Vishesh Films. The film is the sequel to the 1991 film Sadak, which stars Sanjay DuttPooja BhattAlia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. It marks Mahesh Bhatt’s return as a director after 20 years.

The film is about Ravi’s depression and how he helps a young woman’s encounter with a godman, who is out to expose this fake guru running an ashram. The shooting began on 18 May 2019, and the film was shot in Ooty, Mumbai, Mysore and Uttarakhand. The film will premiere on 28 August 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar.

No 2 – The Devil All The Time:

The Devil All the Time is an upcoming American psychological thriller film based on the novel of the same name by Donald Ray Pollock. It is directed and co-written by Antonio Campos and produced by Jake Gyllenhaal and Randall Poster. The film features an ensemble cast including Tom HollandBill SkarsgårdRiley KeoughJason ClarkeSebastian StanHaley BennettEliza ScanlenMia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson.

No 3 – After We Collided

After We Collided is an upcoming American romantic drama  film directed by Roger Kumble and starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin. It is based on the 2014 new adult fiction novel of the same name by Anna Todd and is the sequel to the 2019 film After.

It follows the love life of two young adults -Tessa finds herself struggling with her complicated relationship with Hardin and faces a dilemma that could change their lives forever.

It is scheduled to be released in theatres and VOD on October 2, 2020.

No 4 – Unpregnant

Unpregnant is an upcoming American road movie  directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg from a screenplay by Goldenberg, Ted Caplan, Jenni Hendriks, Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and William Parker, based upon the novel of the same name by Caplan and Hendriks. It stars Haley Lu RichardsonBarbie Ferreira, Alex MacNicoll, Breckin MeyerGiancarlo EspositoSugar Lyn BeardBetty WhoMary McCormack, Denny Love, Ramona Young and Kara Royster.

The film is about a 17-year old Missouri teen named Veronica, who discovers she has gotten pregnant – a development that threatens to end her dreams of matriculating at an Ivy League college, and the career that will follow.

It is scheduled to be released on September 10, 2020, by HBO Max.

Black Is King is a 2020 American musical film and visual album  directed, written and executive produced by American singer-songwriter Beyoncé. The film serves as a visual companion to the 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift, a tie-in album curated by Beyoncé for the 2019 remake of The Lion King.

Black Is King was released globally to stream on Disney+ on July 31, 2020, and was aired the following day across Sub-Saharan Africa on M-Net and Canal+ Afrique and across the Middle East and North Africa on OSN. The film received acclaim from critics, with praise for Beyoncé’s direction, the cinematography, score, costume design, subject matter and cultural themes.
